Pick of the Week: Mass EffectDecember 2-8, 2007
This week's pick of the week is a game for the Xbox 360: Mass Effect. I chose this gamebecause, amongst the vast number of over-hyped underdelivering games of this holiday season, it sticks out in my mind as one of the few with good graphics, a good story, and a bit of ingenuity. Along similar lines to Bioshock, actions you take within the game of Mass Effect determine how the story ends. This is something that has been done to a minimal extent in other games, but Mass Effect takes it to the next level. All of the alternative story lines are well thought out, and actually feel to be relevant to the gameplay. If you want a deeper look into the game bit-tech did an excellent review, but I definitely recommend picking this one up or adding it to your Christmas list.
Unfortunately I don't have the ability to take screenshots off my xbox 360 as of yet, but there are several in the bit-tech review.
